Invitational Series events offer points towards a once a year Invitational tournament for the top 8 legacy players at Atlantis. Each monthly tournament at both Atlantis locations will earn you points toward the Invitational Championship to be held in July 2012.

Entry Fee: $10 (Invitational Series events can not be paid for in store credit)

Format: Legacy

Pairings Format: Swiss rounds with top 4

Prize Pool: $8 for each player goes into the prize pool

• 1st Place = 50% of prize pool in credit
• 2nd Place = 25% of prize pool in credit
• 3rd-4th = 12.5% of prize pool in credit

Invitational Points

Players will earn points for each tournament they play in at each store.

• 1 Point for playing
• 1 Point for each match win

Championship Tournament

We will put $2 per player for each tournament held into the prize pool for the yearly championship event. The championship event will be free to play for the 8 top scoring players from all the invitational events. 

Championship Prize Payout:

• 1st Place = 40% of prize pool in cash
• 2nd Place = 20% of prize pool in cash
• 3rd-4th Place = 10% of prize pool in cash
• 5th-8th Place = 5% of prize pool in cash

Example payout. Based on only 8 players per tournament each month the total prize pool would be $384. That would pay out  $153.60 in cash to 1st place all the way down to $19.20 in cash to last place.
